The gravimetric meter is known for its characteristics of good precision and reliability along with low pressure losses
IMPORTANT
A) the module containing the fuel container must be installed vertically as it has a load cell that measures the weight of the fuel inside the burette.
B) Fixed on a wall not subject to vibrations
Operating principle
The measurement principle is very simple: the fuel is loaded into a container (called a burette) through an inlet intercepted by a solenoid valve.
Through the load cell, the electronic management system understands when the burette has reached its maximum filling limit and interrupts the filling via the solenoid valve.
At this point, the system is ready to perform the consumption measurement and waits for the start signal for the test.
The consumption meter can be set either in test grams or test time.
After the test is completed, if the system senses that the burette is at the minimum level, it will inhibit the possibility of performing another test and command the solenoid valve to recharge the burette. Only when the burette is full again will it be possible to perform another test.
