The mechanical accelerator lever model ACC-MEC 01 is a very sophisticated acceleration lever. The particularity of this acceleration lever is that it has two operating modes:
- FAST EFFECT
- SLOW but precise EFFECT
To use it in FAST EFFECT mode, simply press the button at the top of the lever and operate the lever itself. Quickly you can accelerate or decelerate.
To then finely correct (SLOW EFFECT) the engine revolutions, turn the knob that acts on the lever linkage.
Paired with this lever linkage, you will be provided with a special cable called FLEXBALL of a defined length.
Installation of the flexball cable
The Flexball cable should never be "forced" during installation, but rather accommodated. Its three-dimensional curves result from bending and twisting of its components (outer, central, and ball-bearing blades);
These stresses need to be adjusted to follow its natural tendency to assume the correct position. If resistances occur during assembly (the Flexball opposes an effort to follow the intended path), it is advisable to start the installation process again from the beginning.
