The Legrand UPS model Daker DK 1000 is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with high-frequency PWM technology, online double conversion type, pass-through neutral, Nominal Power 1,000 VA – 800 W, equipped with valve-regulated sealed batteries, contained within the UPS in a dedicated compartment or in one or more external cabinets, sized to ensure a minimum autonomy of 8 minutes at 80% load. Electronics and batteries are contained in just two rack units. This UPS is designed to be installed both in Tower configuration and inside Rack cabinets. The UPS rectifier consists of a control and regulation circuit (PFC), which in addition to the normal rectifier functions also:
- automatically corrects the power factor of the load to bring it to a value >0.99 already with an output load applied equal to 20% of the nominal load
- supplies the inverter without requiring energy from the batteries even in the presence of very low mains voltage
- ensures a total harmonic distortion of the input current THDIin
