The latest addition as an access to be inserted into the NIKOR-USB interface is the module for reading the value of the LAMBDA probe coming from the power supply and conversion module, LAMBDA PROBE. As there are several companies producing these modules which also provide an output voltage value depending on the LAMBDA probe value, never identical among them, we have implemented within the NIKOR software the possibility to create different linearization tables that can be recalled depending on which module one uses.
The connection of such instrumentation is very simple as the output signal of the LAMBDA PROBE module is connected to two designated terminals.
This interface already includes electrical wiring, power supply unit, and connectors for the correct connection to the NIKOR-USB interface.
The group of 4 lambda probes acquisition is composed of a metal box internally containing:
- 4 isolated signal conditioning systems
- 1 support terminal block
On the front side are housed:
- 4 power insertion switches to the LAMBDA power supply module
- 4 powered module indication lamps
On the top part of the box:
- 4 LAMBDA module power supply wirings
- 4 signal input wirings from LAMBDA module
- 1 12 VDC power input wiring from battery
- 1 Input/output signal connector
