The latest addition as an access to be inserted into the NIKORUSB interface is the module for reading the value of the LAMBDA probe coming from the power supply and conversion module LAMBDA PROBE.
Since there are several companies producing these modules that also provide an output voltage value based on the value of the LAMBDA probe, which is never identical among them,
we have implemented within the NIKOR software the possibility to create different linearization tables that can be called depending on which module one is using.
The connection of this instrumentation is very simple as the output signal of the LAMBDA PROBE module is connected to two designated terminals.
This interface already includes electrical wiring, power supply unit, and connectors for proper connection to the NIKOR-USB interface.
The acquisition system for 2 lambda probes consists of a metal box that internally contains:
- 2 isolated signal conditioning systems
- 1 support terminal block
On the front part, there are:
- 2 power insertion switches for the LAMBDA power supply module
- 2 indicator lamps for powered module
On the top part of the box:
- 2 power supply wiring for LAMBDA module
- 2 signal input wiring from LAMBDA module
- 1 12 VDC power input wiring from battery
- 1 Signal input/output connector
