Barometric Control Unit TA + PA

Often we hear about "CORRECTED TORQUE" and "CORRECTED POWER". Until a few years ago, we used a needle barometric control unit and, through an ABACUS table and a ruler, we roughly estimated the value of CCA correction, but this value was INDICATIVE as it was verified at the end of the test and therefore did not take into account the variations in pressure and temperature that occurred in the test room during the test itself. Now, these values can be obtained in real-time during bench testing. This is feasible by combining the "NIKOR-USB 4.0 16c" engine data acquisition system with a barometric control unit that will acquire in real-time: ambient temperature, ambient pressure, which will communicate the acquired data via TCP-IP.

With this data, the NIKOR 4.0 16c acquisition system combined with the NIKOR 16-32c - 4.0 or HERCULES-ALACER dual software will calculate and display in real-time:

- The atmospheric correction coefficient C.C.A. in two modes: DIN, ISO
- Corrected torque and power

This barometric control unit consists of a temperature sensor housed on the side of the box and an absolute pressure sensor with a range from 800 to 1200 mBAR absolute, which is inserted inside the box itself and will communicate via a TCP-IP board placed inside the box for temperatures/pressures.
