Barometric Control Unit TA + PA + UR%

Often we hear about "CORRECT TORQUE" and "CORRECT POWER". Until a few years ago, we relied on a barometric control unit with a needle, and through an ABACUS table and a ruler, we roughly obtained the value of the correction coefficient CCA, but this value was INDICATIVE since it was verified at the end of the test and therefore did not take into account the variations in pressure and humidity that occurred in the test room during the test itself. Now these values can be obtained in real time during bench testing. Everything is feasible by combining the "NIKOR-USB 16-32c" engine data acquisition system with a barometric control unit that will acquire in real time: ambient temperature, ambient pressure, UR% which will communicate the acquired data in an analog manner.

With this data, the NIKOR-USB 16-32c acquisition system combined with NIKORALACER or HERCULES-ALACER dual software will calculate and display in real time:

- The atmospheric correction coefficient C.C.A. in three modes: DIN, ISO, ECE
- The corrected torque and power

This barometric control unit consists of a unit that includes a temperature sensor and a relative humidity sensor (UR%) that will be housed alongside the temperature and pressure box, and an absolute pressure sensor with a range from 800 to 1200 mBAR absolute that will be inserted into the temperature and pressure box.
